Sure you can get a whole bunch of other food items on the menu – including pizza, wings, appetizers, Philly cheese steaks, Italian Hoagies, wraps and more – but the main event at the Abracadabra Ice Cream Factory is of course the incredible ice cream which is made before your very eyes using the magic of liquid nitrogen. The family run business encourages you to design your own ice cream flavors or indulge in one of their own delicious recipes. If all that wasn’t enough there are also bounce houses for kids 12 and under.
A visit to Florida wouldn’t be complete without an encounter with an alligator. At Gatorland you’ll be able to choose from a great range of experiences that will get you up close with these incredible creatures. One of the wildest activities as the Gator Gauntlet – a 350 foot zip wire that takes you flying across the Alligator Breeding Marsh as 130 of these giant alligators watch from below. Defiantly not one for the faint hearted but there are a number of gentler attractions that showcase these fearsome, ornery critters
These beautifully landscaped gardens offer miles of wonderful trail hiking, fantastic bird watching opportunities – 126 different species – and the spectacular seasonal color of azaleas, camellias and magnolias. Made up of many natural habitats the gardens are also home to the endangered gopher tortoise and the threatened eastern indigo snake. Don’t miss the Singing Tower, a 205ft neo-Gothic and art deco masterpiece housing a 60 bell carillon which fills the gardens with wonderful music at 1pm and 3pm daily.
Embark on an incredible Everglades adventure with a trip on an agile and exciting airboat. And what a habitat it is – this wilderness in central Florida remains untouched by humans and is stunning in its natural glory which includes wetlands, cypress trees and abundant wildlife.
